Open Water competition consists of semi-final and final stages. The winners of the two semi-finals, the team that won the second place in one of the semifinals and the team with the best results among the other participants take part in the finals. The final relay race involves 6 stages.
Engineer unit moves towards water edge, overcoming water obstacle (water maneuvering site), reaches the opposite shore and enters an antitank ditch, prepared in advance.
Track laying machine overcomes obstacles and moves towards the anti-tank ditch on the shore. With the use of bulldozer equipment track builder crew crosses over the anti-tank ditch and arranges access track to the water barrier.
Amphibious personnel carrier crews overcome obstacles and move towards the automobile loading point. Crews load an automobile on an amphibious personnel carrier, fix it, overcome water obstacle and reach the opposite shore.
Towboat crew, loaded on a standard automobile vehicle from the start point, overcomes obstacles and moves towards the water edge to evacuate casualties from the other shore. Crew disembark the towboat onto the water, cross water barrier and evacuate the casualties from the opposite shore.
Pontoon troops on two automobiles with interior bays and on one automobile with shore bay overcome obstacles and move towards the water edge. Pontoon troops drop the bays into the water, install the ferry, load the automobile with armament and transport it to the opposite shore. Then the troops return to the initial shore.
Pontoon troops overcome obstacles and move towards the water edge to equip the platoon ferry and to transport military hardware to the opposite shore.
